MARCH: A New Beginning… Chance or Choice?
Hello dear friends . . . I hope you are all well. May I share some thoughts with you that are daily on my mind—as I suspect are shared by many of you.
From the time I experienced kaleidoscopic visions with images, and until the time that the first one actually happened, I was totally unaware that my thoughts meant anything. I was a victim of the world I saw. After the first vision manifested—I knew something greater than me was trying to guide me. It was like the velvet hammer of truth had radically redirected me, and as the visions continued to come, more and more I learned to trust the voice within me. Now, it has become the only voice I trust.
When something has gone “viral” such as this “viral” global crisis—perhaps it is a velvet hammer pointing us to a new direction . . . a global recess, to sit us all down and reevaluate what is happening right now — to get in touch with our sanity, our inner voice.
NEW BEGINNINGS
A Course in Miracles says, “A sense of separation is the only lack we need to correct” — We need to think in terms of oneness. When we think, we either have thoughts of love-or of fear . . . nothing else. Spirit inspires, and is the voice of love. The ego is the voice of separation. Most of us know when love is present, but the ego . . . the ego is a divisive con! Separation is its bread and butter. The ego is suspicious at best and vicious at worst . . . the ego damns, loves controversy, chaos, confusion—and to stay in power — it must keep us believing in fear.
While lovingly, we are doing necessary things to protect ourselves and each other, at the same time we find ourselves practicing separation, i.e. isolating, not touching each other, standing away from each other, not hugging or shaking hands, avoiding gathering together. Even a mask hides our greeting smile. Still, while in our human form—we are never separated; we depend on others for our clothing, our cars, our food, our teeth, our health, our houses, our hair . . .! I need you to be me.
It is our nature to continue to come up with innovative ways to connect with each other— love is constant, awaiting only our choice. Since the world is an outer picture of an inner condition, to change a problem, we must change the cause. Perhaps the following thoughts might be helpful in assisting to shift our perspective to give power to the oneness that we are, especially at this time.
Know that you are not the victim of the world you see, because the inner is the cause of the outer. Decide not to yield to it and to put yourself in bondage. “In your freedom lies the freedom of the world.” – ACIM.
Pay attention to your own inner guidance. Be a detached, objective observer. Breathe consciously — your I Am presence will lift you above the chaos. Your inner voice will remind you that your mind is part of God’s. You are very holy.
We can choose to share, give help and support to each other—or we can choose to be selfish, to hoard, to look after ourselves. But it’s important to know that the latter is what created this insane mess in the first place. Forgiveness is the key to happiness. As you reach out, know that light and joy and peace abide in you.
Be mindful that our true work is not our jobs: that is what we do, not who we are or what we were created to do. Our true purpose is to add to the light of the world by looking after each other by, protecting each other, and honoring all life. Treat each person as the divine being that they are.
Be ever vigilant in knowing that there is no separation regardless of the walls we build or the borders we design to separate us. We are collectively being forced to search for solutions to problems—all which have been done in the insanity of greed. There have always been people who are homeless, sick, and afraid . . . we have often turned our heads because it was just too uncomfortable. Now we do not have the option — billions of people — through no fault of their own are experiencing challenges like this. Yet, “All things are lessons God would have me learn.” – ACIM.
Remember, the ego is afraid of the Spirit’s joy. Oneness is never-more vibrant than when we laugh together! 😊 share music, enjoy art and nature. We can pay attention to what disturbs our peace, and then know that the peace of God is shining in me now! Miracles are expressions of love. You are the miracle!
************
This is an opportunity for a new beginning. This can be a time of reflection, clarity, understanding where we learn from our mistakes—or it can be just another destructive cycle that will repeat over and over again until we finally learn the lessons of oneness and divine love that we were meant to learn. Let’s not let this cosmic “viral” moment pass us by.
“There will never be peace on earth until the people of the world have inner peace.”
– Gary Renard, author of Disappearance of the Universe, International Speaker.
